SOLAR ATLAS
BACK TO THE 3D EXPERIENCE

THE PROJECT · INDEPENDENT AND EDUCATIONAL

Inspiring curiosity about the Universe

Solar Atlas is an independent project originally created in French. It began with a simple idea: wonder can open the door, but curiosity then needs clear explanations, useful comparisons and sources that can be checked.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Students, families and curious minds

Originally designed for French-speaking audiences from primary school to adulthood, the experience is now also available in English and Spanish. It offers several ways to learn: narration, 3D interaction, concise fact sheets and detailed explanations.

WHY?

Learn through exploration

The 3D view makes relationships between celestial bodies visible. Fact sheets and quizzes then turn discoveries into knowledge you can explain, compare and remember.

HOW?

Sources and transparency

The data draws mainly on NASA Science, JPL Solar System Dynamics and the International Astronomical Union. Rounded figures and simulation limitations are clearly identified.

OUR COMMITMENT

Correct and improve

You can report a scientific error or an educational need through the Contact form. Key content is reviewed before publication and dated when substantially revised.

An independent project

Solar Atlas is neither a NASA service nor an official French education website. Scientific organisations are named to credit their data, images and methods. The project currently sells no products and displays no advertisements.
