SHORT DESCRIPTION

Solar Atlas is a free educational experience for exploring the Solar System in 3D, available in English, French and Spanish. Planets, the Sun, Moon, Pluto, quizzes and learning resources are available without an account at systeme-solaire-3d.fr/en.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Solar Atlas combines immersive 3D exploration with scientific content in English, French and Spanish. Visitors can observe the Sun, eight planets, Moon, Pluto and asteroid belt, compare sizes and distances, read detailed fact sheets, download learning resources and try three quiz levels. A guide for ages 9–12, a teacher pack and a 45-term glossary support classroom use. The site is free, independent, requires no student account and explains the limitations of its representations.
